one month++
it's been exactly 32 days since i got here, arrived in puchong and started my first semester of foundation in LUCT.week one:
rushed like crazy on the 14th feb to fly here from miri and get on with my registration. met chiam and started to get to know her better even tho i barely knew her in miri! which is kinda sad ahaha.. met jacinta too another girl our age who used to be from st. therese in kuching. real glad coz i found out she plays a bit of tennis too =) then all week long we had orientation which was so creativity-focused and filled with (i'm sorry to say) pretty dumb games. but i guess that's how orientations always are.. =) oh but the fashion show was fun. the facilitator for our group's real good looking tho he wasnt much help in helping us dress up our models =p but he's still good looking anyway. one of the best i've seen in limkoking in that week ehehe.. went to subang that weekend and crashed with tracy and cheryl. so happy to see them in kl even tho i've just seen them the week before during chinese new year. caught a flu and sore throat that night and on sunday went to a catholic church with cheryl and jordan.
week two:
lectures and tutorials officially started. all my lecturers seem pretty good except for one which i fell out of like with on first sight. i think it's a first impression thing, but i dont like the way he teaches which is so blardy confusing and all he can talk about is him, him, and him. agH. i dont wanna get into that right now i'm in such a good mood. that weekend we went to midvalley by the metrobus no. 21. first time on public bus for me in kl ehehe.. felt so sakai lol. couldnt find any churches around so chiam and i went to eaglepoint with carol. i think it's a charismatic church, but well.. i really wanna find a catholic church nearby so i can go for mass. i dont know why, but ever since i got here i keep getting this feeling like i really wanna go to church. back home in miri i was always trying (especially sunday mornings after a long night) to sleep in so i dont have to go to church. sorry God! ahaha but now.. hrm. i guess ppl DO change =)
week three:
school's DEFINITELY more interesting that week. assignments starting to pile up. exams in just a few weeks' time. quizzes on random days. gawd. that saturday we went to sunway pyramid. deb spent SO much ar that crazee girl she shouldnt have listened to joyce so much ahaha.. then we met up with chiam's friens kynan, pak guan, william and peter. the first three crashed at chiam's place ehehe.. now i dont really remember anything much that happened that week except that daddy came! ehehe sooo happy. went for thai food yuM~! first time in so long i didnt have to spend anything in ONE DAY! lol.
week four:
mom and ivan came that weekend! they went to seremban for the mssm2005 so i followed my housemate shaz over - she went back to seremban for the weekend coz she lives there. was so happy to see mom and ivan =) missed them so much! oh and i also saw all the lil sehkias from the sarawak team. ahhh.. happy.
week five:
week five.. i've been here for exactly one month already. getting pretty used to the place, know my way around, that kinda thing. i'm missing home a lot tho.. i miss laksa.. i miss kolo mee.. i miss teh-c-peng.. aghhHHHH..
hrm. been here for five weeks now. it's friday and i'm in school coz there's NOTHING to do in school and i've been bored.. ahaha so i came over to have lunch with chiam, jess and debby they all. now, while they're all in class, i'm having nothing to do again so i'm blogging. there.
i think i've blabbed enough in one day. it's all just pointless babbles which arent even detailed enough to make sense. hrm. i'll make it a point from now on to blog more. (i realize i say that every time but it never works) but whadahell.. ahaha..
