yesterday,

my laptop drowned.

my room flooded.

my electronics all got drenched.

i had a heart attack.

.. but i thank God that everything was all right in the end. *siGh. all i did was open a WEE LITTLE bit of my room window to allow some fresh air in, went out a while, and the next moment when i entered again..

my laptop was covered in water! i walked in, and there was at least half a centimetre of water on the floor. my table was all wet, and my other electronics (my new IKEA LAMP! my phone charger, camera charger, mp3 player charger, USB cable, camera cable..) were all drenched.

*siGh. a FEW minutes was all it took for so much to happen. i saw it starting to rain in chiam's room but i didnt realize it would be so bad! =( i only imagined a few little drops of water on my study table. mana tahu..

had a bloody heart attack on the spot.

luckily chiamie and kok lik were there to help me dry my floor while i dried all my electronics. heh. <3 you guys.

oh and i know. there's a bloody lot of ppl who'd laugh their heads off if i tell them this incident. 'rain rain there some more lahh.. see now? finally rain on you!' if you dont understand, dont bother. =)

but even though all that shyt happened, everything turned out all right in the end. i was SO scared to try turn on my laptop in case anything happened (or in this case, NOTHING happening at ALL), but it's actually still working! or i wouldnt even be able to type this right now. ehehee..

lesson learnt: ALWAYS remember to close window whenever leaving room. you never know. my dahling rain might miss me again. ahahaa. =)

on friday chiamie and i went to one-U and IKEA! went crazy at IKEA figuring out what lamp to get. there was this REALLY REALLY nice mood lamp that i so wanted.. square and white, just perfect. BUT, it was a tad too dim. cant exactly use that to study. =( so, i finally decided on a pixar lamp! that's what i'm gonna call it anyway. my pixar lamp. ehehee.. it's just so adorable. AND it's yellow light that's bright enough. yeay. so happy happy happy. was so depressed when i saw it all wet yesterday tho. i thought it wont work anymore. haih.

feb 14, 2006. today marks exactly 365 days since i've been at kl. i never fail to be amazed at how time flies by so fast.. i just cant believe it. i DONT want it to pass so quickly. i DONT want all these precious moments to go by just like that. and in a quick, immature thought: i DONT want to grow up! =(

for the past two days i've been pretty.. what d'you call it? tired. dead. sad. nostalgic. homesick. all the most depressing adjectives you can think of.

dont get me wrong, i'm happy to be back. it's a new year, a new beginning.. plus i'll be starting the first year of my degree course! everything's going as it should be. but.. there's always a but, isnt there? why cant we be happy enough and satisfied with what we've got? *siGh. everything's going great, but.. something just doesnt seem right.

it just seems as though something's missing. something i cant quite put my finger on..

*huge sigh.

hopefully everything'll be back to normal when i return to uni on thursday for registration.

i'm so friggin' tired from cleaning and moving all my stuff into my room. been at it nonstop since i arrived last night and i'm still not done! ahaha.. but things are at least a bit better today. everything's more organized. yAy. i looove my room. now all i have to do is get a warm table lamp to complement it.

too bad the tv's not working yet tho; it was previously an astro tv and since we dont want the astro, there's nothing we can watch on it coz the aerial's not up. so now we're just waiting for the landlord to fix it and we're good. =D oh, and the hi-fi set too. hRm.

due to us being singles only on valentine's, (lol) chiamie and i had dinner together! after so long of not cooking ourselves and dinner-ing together liao. three months plus leh. ehehe.. my cooking skills also gone already. been such a spoiled brat over the hols =D

am currently back in kl. or, more accurately, vista prima, bandar bukit puchong.

TONNES of cleaning up and unpacking to do. i'm so friggin' tired.

saying goodbye sucks.

luckily aldrin was there. and that john and tze chin were sitting right in front of me. if they weren't, i swear i wouldnt have been so calm and cool about it.

i miss home.

then it was to taman selera to have our lak-bi-th'ng! (literally, six-flavour soup) *sluRps.

ahahaa.. i know this is like, super late.. but erm. the past few days have been pretty packed.. with loads of pai nian-ing and yummy FOOD. =D oh, and not forgetting ang paos. still not too old to get 'em! =)
